Big Black Floppy Hat

I have some $ put away for Spring Clothing. 

My criteria:
- can I wear this for more than just one season? Sometimes I give in although I try not to.
- do  I love this?  Is this a fad or is this really part of my style vibe? I even hold off a few weeks, to see if I still really want something.
- is this living large ? Meaning, I want to wear things I love, things that don't bore me.


So with that, my first Spring purchase was

I love this coat.  I saved my pennies for this coat.  This coat makes me happy.  The thing that I love the most about fashion is my ability to express myself.  Fashion allows me to express what I feel on the inside on the outside.  I love romantic, pretty, glittery things.....I love this jacket.  I bought it on sale at Anthropologie last year.  Yes, you see me in it often and I don't care.. It makes me happy.

What makes you happy?  Wear it! Staple to yourself.  Life is too short not to do things we love, wear things we love, be with people with love.. be people WE LOVE.

Hello Fashionistas, Happy Spring!  So I have been thinking long and hard about color.  And here is where I am.. I am a New Yorker so yes, my relationship with black is well, healthy.  I love black clothes.  But honestly I really love alot of color even more. My favorite color is pink and always will be.  Here is my favorite dress of all time.  I saved 6 months and saved Anthropologie gift cards to purchase.  Some may say, heck it wasn't expensive but for me.... I want to be practical if I can.  I will surely splurge but I love the discipline of saving toward a Mommynista Fashion Goal. My fave. dress. ever.
